Fall Activities Update

Hello Everyone, happy fall!
We have decided, in the interest of safety and the quickly spreading COVID variant, not to have Trunk or Treat. Safety is a priority for our children, and the children of the community. Thank you for the candy donations we have received. The candy has been returned to those who donated.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are building Dinner boxes for families who are in need. This Thanksgiving, we want to ensure families are able to gather around the table and thank God for all his good blessings.
We need your help. We are asking for the dinner materials to provide to families for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Last year we set the goal for twelve families and you exceeded it. We were able to provide 20 meals to 20 families. This year we are setting our goal to twenty. Our youth and families will be delivering the boxes to families in need. We also need recommendations of families you may know who may be in need of some assistance. Donations may be dropped off at the church during the church's office hours. Please call ahead to ensure someone will be able to meet you.
We would like to provide 20 meals to 20 families.
If you have a suggestion for a family that will need a Thanksgiving Dinner please email or call the church (fcc@pleateautel.net) phone: 575-763-7113
We will need their name, address, phone number.
We will need 20 of each item on the list.
List of needs for the Thanksgiving boxes:
Medium sized Turkeys (10 lbs.)
canned green beans
Canned corn
Instant potatoes
Stovetop Stuffing
Canned Yams
Canned Pumpkin pie mix
Pie crusts
Canned cranberry
Packaged Gravy mix turkey or chicken
Thank you for your generosity and love. We are looking forward to this event. We will also need volunteers to help youth families deliver boxes. If you are interested in helping to deliver these meals please contact Josh at joshua@joshuadavidmcvey.com
We will be taking donations until Sunday, November 14, 2021. Meals will be assembled and delivered that week. This will give families plenty of time to prepare their Thanksgiving festivities.
Thank you again for your generosity and love.
